2017 1st round pick (Halfman)
Halfman trades:
2017 1st round pick (Mr Bojangles)
2017 3rd round pick (Boys of Summer)
Trade Clause – If the Mr. Bojangles pick ends up higher than the Halfman pick, Boys of Summer & Halfman will trade only the 1st round picks back at the conclusion of the 2016 season.

Man, I really hope you are joking and you didn't give up a 3rd round pick to move up one spot for a player that is already owned. I'm sure there is plenty of talent left and you have the top choice, but Maitian is already owned by mini.

This trade is VOID.
In the end even though this is COMPLETELY not my fault, I am involved and I am a commish so this looks BAD on me no way around it. So whether I should or not I will do what I think is fair to make sure to keep the confidence in the league that NOTHING shady is going on behind the scenes.
But from now on everyone please double or even triple check all transactions before and after you make them. Mistakes happen! I did not have anything to do with a miss-spelled name, but even if I did this should have never happened! The Control-F function is an excellent way to find a name fast, but it shouldn't be relied on as the only way.
Halfman, I'm sorry if you had your hopes set on drafting Maitan/Matian...however you spell it! Unfortunately I can't fix that!

The misspell was my fault from entering it after the draft. So I am to blame for the trade mishap.
But that isn't a reason for a trade to be voided.

The spreadsheet is a tool to use, it is not the official roster list as mistakes can happen. Which is why it's been said on multiple occasions to keep your own roster and check the league roster to see if there are any errors.
Also, the full official draft on here has every pick listed and Maitan is listed on there, in summary and the pick, spelled correctly.
It sucks, and I really hate it for you, but in my opinion there is no reason to void a draft pick trade that has been agreed on and voted for.

For what it's worth, I bet you can trade the #1 pick to mini for Maitan and he would accept that deal without hesitation. But that's his call, worth it to reach out and see.

Hey guys! So unfortunately I won't be able to help this situation. In my estimation Maitan if he were in the draft year would very likely be worth the top pick, I share that opinion by Halfman. Where the problem really comes in is that I have Maitan as a 3rd round pick meaning he costs a heck of a lot less than a 1st round pick making him even more valuable.

After discussing with co-commish Barons and Halfman, I have decided that it would set a bad precedence if I were to void a trade after it had been signed off on by both parties. So this trade will go on and assuming it is not voted down in the next few hours it will pass later today.

So just a reminder that we should always double check everything before signing off on a trade. Cause once you agree, it is FINAL unless voted down.
Also, just so a spelling error or something similar doesn't effect a trade again, if anyone sees any mistakes in the Google rosters, to yours or someone else's. Feel free to shoot me a message to fix it and I will get it taken care of. Gashouse pointed out a couple others this morning that I have already taken care of. It was a fast and furious start to this season so I know Barons didn't possibly have the time to check every little thing when initially setting up the rosters.
