Mitch Garver - crushing baseballs all season, and he could be yours for the playoffs at a brutal postion.
Let's look at some stats:
8 Hrs in the last 30 days
.327 avg in the last 30 days
For the season - 2nd most HRs for catchers (in 100 less ABs): 19 HR in 181 ABS......that's a home run every 10ABs, imagine his numbers if he didnt spend time on the DL!
Runs/RBIs - top 7 for catchers in both categories, would be top in both if he didnt go on DL
#39 ranked player overall, based on average stats. Once again showing when he is healthy he has been absolutely crushing the ball.
All that said, he is doing me no good on a $1 contract for this season as I am in last place. Get him and improve your weakest position.
