Actually, Haniger was on IL so dropping him didn't create an open roster spot.
Instead, will conditionally cut Jose Barrero if successful in auction.

You did have an open roster spot when you cut Haniger, so that is what Rosario filled. You can still cut Barrero if you want. But since he was not your original drop named in this auction, he will not be a part of this transaction.
