Stones I may be willing to move down and trade you my first 2 picks for your first 2 picks. Let's see where we are when my pick is close but it's a very decent chance I'd do that if you are interested. It would pop you up a little bit.

I have to leave in 2 hours, and will not be back until 1-2am. If the 2nd pick is not made by then, I will not be able to make my 3rd pick until early in the morning. Many of us may have different schedules.

Yeah IF there's someone in the league that you trust to make your pick for you (you give them a list or the name of just 1 guy...whatever you are comfortable with), that would be a huge help since this is 6 rounds!
***Also I'm not sure if it's in the rules or not BUT when you make your pick you should be sending a PM to the next manager up to let them know they are OTC. That way hopefully they get an email alert.***

I am in another league with slow drafts and we had a really efficient draft last week simply by starting a how to contact me thread all responded with Phone# text, IM, Email whatever we all are mobile these days. When you make a pick you simply look at the thread and contact person up..

- players drafted in the 1st round cost $3.5 in the season you promote them, $5.25 in their 2nd season and $7 in the third, fourth and fifth years. - players drafted in the 2nd round cost $2.5 in the season you promote them, $3.75 in their 2nd season and $5 in the third, fourth and fifth years. - players drafted in both the 3rd and 4th rounds cost $1.5 in the season you promote them, $2.25 in their second season and $3 in the third, fourth and fifth years. So, if you have, say, only $2 left, this means that you cannot promote a player you drafted in the 1st round? So, in turn, this means that when a player gets promoted in the real life, you don't have to promote him?

three things: 1) You do not have to promote a player until the start of a season where he has exceeded the rookie threshold. You may at anytime, but you are not required to do so.
2) Whenever you drop a player you pay the "buyout" penalty 50% current year salary 25% during the following contract years (if there are any). This also means if you drop a $5 player during the season you get $2.50 back into your funds. Could be enough to promote the player??
3) DL players may be backfilled for a $1 cost. You can use minor league players off your own roster as DL replacement players. So rather than promoting for the extra cost and losing a year of contract control you can slide your player onto the roster than way.
Hope that helps..

U can promote as a dlr. Or u don't have to promote him if he gets called up. But if a player exceeds his rookie status, at end of season he then either has to get promoted or dropped. So u don't get handcuffed midseason for mlr's.
